Reno Shotokan Karate Club practices are FREE to all TMCC students with at least 1 credit for the semester. You need to be part of Truckee Meadows Community College (either as a student, a faculty member, or a staff member) to practice with us.
Please sign-up with our karate club. After signing up, please read our Practice Guidelines before observing/attending your first practice.
Practices are held at Truckee Meadows Community College, 7000 Dandini Boulevard, Sports & Fitness Center, Room #s 111 & 112 (combined), on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30PM–8:00PM during the fall and spring semesters; and from 5:30PM–7:00PM during the summer months.

Though the karate practices are free to TMCC students, faculty members, and staff members, membership to Shotokan Karate of America is still necessary to be able to participate in kyu tests to advance in rank, as well as visit other dojos, participate in exchange practices, regional, national, and international SKA-sanctioned events.
